Sri Lanka College of Journalism 2010 Batch intake

The Sri Lanka College of Journalism held it’s Admittance Examination on the 13th of December 2009 for the New Intake – Batch of 2010.

136 Students arrived for the Admittance Examination and it was held within a large tent constructed outdoors – for the occasion. It was a large gathering of intelligent and bright students who were also interviewed orally after the written examination.

The Parents who came with these students were taken around the College and shown the ‘spots’ where their Children will be at work for the Next Year. They were extremely happy to see the surroundings.

The SLCJ had a great number of Volunteers from the members of the Staff and the past students who came on a Sunday to give their assistance to make the occasion a huge success.

The Selections are now being done to absorb into the College the brightest and best of these as future potential Journalists.
