SLCJ to Commence Five Certificate Courses in September

Sri Lanka College of Journalism will call for new applications for four Certificate Courses which are to be commenced on the first week of September 2018.

The Courses due to commence are News Camera reporting and Lighting Techniques, Introduction to Media, Professional Translation and Interpretation, Radio and Television News Reading & Presentation skills Social Media for Beginners.

Receiving applications for the above courses will commence from 10th August 2018.

News Camera reporting and Lighting Techniques

Duration of this course is 03 months and course content includes familiarization of camera components, shot selection and definition, techniques in multi camera production, lighting techniques, FTP, Sound Recording and filter Selections

Introduction to Media

The course curriculum will include creative communication, television media, broadcasting media, print media, social networks, new media and mobile journalism. This course has been designed for those who have studied Communication, literature and Art subjects for Advanced Level. It befits all individuals who studied A/Ls in any other streams too.

Professional Translation and Interpretation

Another Certificate Course on Professional Translation and Interpretation skills is also due to commence. Those who wish enjoy the real reconciliation, peace & co-existence, there is a golden opportunity learn professional translation and interpretation through this course.
